Dam Removal Agreement

The draft agreement to remove the four hydroelectric dams on the Klamath River was made public on September 30, 2009 by the Secretary of the Interior, the governors of California and Oregon, and the CEO of PacifiCorp, a subsidiary of Warren Buffett's Berkshire-Hathaway, which owns and operates the dams. The parties are expected to sign the agreement by the end of the year.
